I saw this story in the LA Times about a bunch of old movies being released this year, including some Buster Keaton and thought to myself "Self, you MUST see silent movies in a theater" followed by "Self, you're in LOS FRIGGIN ANGELES, there must be a festival here" -- okay actually I didn't think the "SELF" part but you know, whatever... Anyway, I did finally look it up. I found what appears to be the big one. Brian doesn't know it yet, but we're going to a silent movie festival Labor Day weekend. The schedule isn't even out yet, but whatever is playing, we're gonna be there at least one day, maybe two. Yup.
