Neuro appointment = saw the nurse practitioner.
She said they'll want to give the Tysabri and thyroid time to both kick in awhile more and if I still have energy issues then see if insurance will approve Provigil (one of those things insurance fights because the official on label use is for narcolepsy even though it's been used for MS exhaustion forever now).
They've been seeing me every month since I am still a fairly new patient and now I am on Tysabri, so they really want to watch me (in fact she said they'll want to do MRIs more often than on a non-Tysabri patient so probably another one in a few months) -- when I asked if we could put off the next appointment til say Dec or Jan as I have jury duty this month then tysabri, then primary care doc, then tysabri, and am just getting worn out on all of the appointments she told me um they prefer to get their patients like me out of jury duty unless they're sure they can do it as the exhaustion at my levels = not good for jury duty. So taking them my form tomorrow, since they offered, I didn't ask. Worst that happens is the courts tell me to screw off and show up anyway. But they seemed to say I should get out of it permanently with the issues I have. I actually liked the month long grand jury duty the one time I did it, I just don't have the energy to do that now. Not to mention if you sit me in an uncomfy chair all day... Well... my body suffers for a week. We'll see. With my luck I'll still have to do it, will get selected, then selected for a long trial and my complaints ignored.
If I do get out of Jury Duty, I am finally free to try to catch up on sleep and regain some energy until the 5th when my next appointments are! YAY! So drained right now.
